WTF’s DINNER? Porkchops with Tarragon and White Wine
Welcome to season 2 of RD Ufiltered by Britt RD. Back in the office and WTF do you make for dinner?!Its an exhausting week day and wouldnt it be nice to just have a super simple but absolutely amazing meal on the table in minutes? I have one given to me by my FIL! Its so good. The taste is fancy. The prep is simple.
Pork Chops with Tarragon and White Wine
4 boneless center cut pork chops (thick cut)
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 tsp of salt (or more to taste)
1 cup white wine
¼ cup heavy cream
2 tsp dried tarragon
Optional loaf of French bread and peas
1. Heat oil and butter in a skillet.
2. Salt both sides of the pork chop and add to skillet
3. Cook on medium high heat about 5 minutes on each side until thermometer reaches 165 degrees F.
4. Add white wine, cream, and tarragon to the pan.
5. Gently scrape the sides of the pan to add all the bits to the sauce
6. Reduce for about 5 minutes
7. Serve hot with crusty bread and a vegetable.
