How To Make Ribs without the GRill
You know those amazing ribs that just fall off the bone? I will teach you how to make them without a grill or a smoker! They are so easy! You will make friends very quickly with this recipe. My homemade BBQ sauce is to die for.
Homemade BBQ Ribs Made Without the Grill!
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp cumin
1tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp salt
1/8th tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp baking soda
1 or 2 racks of ribs patted dry
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
2. In a small bowl combine the first 8 ingredients.
3. Gently spread dry rub onto each rack of ribs
4. Wrap ribs in foil
5. Place on sheet pan and bake for 3 hours
6. Remove from oven and remove from foil. Change oven to broil.
7. Brush with barbeque sauce. (below)
8. Place ribs under the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes
9. Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes
10. Cut into pieces and serve.
Homemade Barbeque Sauce
29 ounce can of tomato sauce
2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup vinegar
½ cup molasses
1 tsp garlic powder
1tsp onion powder
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
In medium size pot combine all ingredients.
Whisk to combine.
Gently simmer for about 30 minutes on medium to medium-low.
Stirring occasionally.
When desired thickness is complete, remove from heat. Store in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
